I visited Cavendish PEI for the first time, searched for hotels and motels nearby and found this one will fulfill my needs. The room and bathroom were clean, neat and tidy. The bed was comfortable; we had a very good sleep after a long drive and activities. The location is close to the shopping mall, Sandpit and Shining water park. The room had a bread toaster which helped us save time and money. The owner was cool and gave a proactive response. He kept a secret book of the places to visit and tips to save money which made us easy to decide. Overall, I would definitely stay there again!
We are typically "franchise" hotel people and have had some bad experiences with cleanliness in smaller motels. We read a lot of reviews and it seemed Boardwalk would be a very nice motel so we booked and from the moment we walked in the door we knew we had made the right choice! We wife, who is a little "ocd" when it comes to cleanliness was very impressed! The room was up-to-date and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Easy walking distance to a lot of activities in Cavendish. It is on a busy road but we didn't hear traffic noise through the night. Multiple BBQ's available on the porch and a microwave, fridge, and coffeemaker in the room--fantastic if you want to prepare your own meals.
The BoardWalk Motel was perfectly located in Cavendish. Very, very close to walk to groceries, liquor (I don't even know er), restaurants and shopping. If you rent/have your car then it is a great starting off point to tour the whole island. Anne of Green Gables is 2minutes away on the same road and many National Parks/Beaches are close. The owner, Cameron, was very helpful, personable and friendly. We stayed only 2 nights but we wished we booked more. Our other nights in PEI were spent at a high-end hotel in Charlottetown which was no better/amazing than our stay at the Boardwalk. The rooms have a cozy, cottage-y feel and are very clean. A large fridge, coffee machine, microwave and the beds are very comfortable. Beautiful hardwood floors and a nice porch to sit on and BBQ and enjoy the beautiful summer nights. The TV has a ton of channels and access to Netflix as well. Wifi was perfect the whole time. Linen was always clean and fresh. We will definitely be coming back (when possible) and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for an incredible accommodation at an affordable price. 5/5 all around!
I had an amazing stay at this motel. Loved everything. Rooms are huge and super comfortable. Washroom was absolutely clean. Barbecue machine is also available outside of the room which was definitely a plus point. Cavendish beach is literally 5mins from the motel. Grocery store, gas station, coffee place everything is very close. Charlottetown is just 30mins from the motel. Huge parking area available. Owner was super friendly. Highly recommended for families.
8 Charming Inn definitely Not a Motel. I say it should be called Cavendish Hotel! BED is Super Comfy, first night I got in here, I didn't feel well and pass out early and slept through all the noises no problem. Netflix and TV Works great. Nice towels and soft bed sheets and all basic essentials are provided and surprised to see a Huge Fridge. AC is great!!! Cameron the owner is very nice, walked all the way out to greet us as soon as we got to the parking!!! Change our sheets and empty our garbage when we were out, totally not necessary. What I am most Impressed is the Homemade Guide Book with laminated Colourful pages and maps and tips!!!! No wonder this place has such high ratings and fully booked!!! Highly Recommended!!!!!!
9½ of 5 stars. Beautiful clean room with more than advertised. Everything seemed new. Even the smell was clean and new. Nice host. Nice location. Beautiful lawn. Nice BBQ. Can't say enough positive things about this wonderful place. Just gorgeous
Motel is in perfect location. The Owner is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and knowledgable of the area. Rooms have binders of everything you can do in the area with tips and pictures to help. This Motel you know the owner takes a lot of pride in making something special and it shows.
It was a terrific motel experience!! The owner Cameron was so helpful, courteous and very knowledgeable about the Cavendish and surrounding areas. He has made a binder which is super helpful for tourists. The room was so clean and I like clean. Not a room with a kitchenette but I knew this and took the proper utensils. The large fridge was a bonus. Barbeque was wonderful part of this Motel and it had a burner too. I just loved the personal touch and loved my stay here. So close to all the fun places. I will be coming back for sure. Sorry for the length of this review but I had to explain how great it is!! An Island Girl
